October Adventure

Brownie Troop 4722
would like to invite your Brownie and family members
to our first quest!

We will be meeting on Sunday, October 14th at 1:00 p.m. to earn our hiking badge at Lapham Peak State Park.  We will be hiking on Plantation Path, a blacktopped handicapped accessible trail located by the Homestead Hollow parking area. It is a one mile interpretive trail through a prairie and wooded area.  We will be doing a few nature activities along the way.  The hike and activities should take less than 60 minutes.
If it should rain or be inclement, we will send out an email by 11:00 a.m. that day making the call.

We will meet in the Homestead Hollow parking lot at 1:00 p.m.  After the hike, you are welcome to continue your adventures in the park as a family, including checking out the view from the tower (the highest point in Waukesha County).
Lapham Peak is south of Delafield off of I-94 (Exit #285) on County Road C.  There is a daily park use fee of $7 (per carload) for the day or $5 for one hour.  It is free for those who have purchased a 2012 state park sticker.

Please RSVP to stemperc@elmbrookschools.org or stephmonoc@gmail.com by October 7th if you plan to attend.
